Broad Topic:  Economic Sustainability for Urban Residences

Transportation/ Parking — We would like to analyze the way people park and figure out the negative aspects of parking such as the feeding the meter and getting  tickets. The more global issue could be economic sustainability for urban dwellers.

I’m not sure what to call our broader topic, but it really has everything to do with the personal finances of the city dweller and how parking makes a huge dent in someone’s budget. We want to explore the better way to go about the system of paying for parking. So in my update above I put this:

I think this is a global issue because many people have cars and it is very expensive to park, especially in the city. Since there are cities all over the world, I beleive this affects many people. Not only would improving the system of paying for parking reduce the citizen’s cost, but it would also reduce the cost of the city to send out cops to go from meter to meter and give you a ticket. Hope this is clear, and I believe that this topic is going to be very interesting and it is definitely something all five of us can go and experience and research.

Thank you for clarifying. I agree, I think this could be a very interesting topic.

I am going to make a category tag for this group: Economic Sustainability & Transportation. Please use this category tag every time your group uploads a post for this project.
